Art for Cure Debut's Life Blooms and Raises $2700.00 for Komen Maryland (view Baltimore Magazine article).

Art for Cure had its first rollout of its premier piece, Life Blooms at the annual Baltimore Magazine reception for Women in Business on behalf of Komen for Cure at Chrsitopher Daniel restaurant in Timonium, Maryland July 17, 2007.

The first of the limited edition piece was auctioned for $1400. The bidding was so competitive that #2 of the edition was also presented and brought in another $1300. Proceeds went directly to Komen for Cure Maryland.

Jennifer Tisch explained the efforts of Art for Cure, Ltd. and explained how it grew from a love for art and a realization of the need for fundraising for breast cancer research that has been heightened by her own battle with breast cancer, as well as that of her partner/writer Jennifer Patrizio.

Art for Cure will be selling the framed archival print, Life Blooms through its website as well as at various fundraising events, including the Race for the Cure in October. They will also be presenting a desk calendar at the Race for the Cure.
